Being a father gave me the energy to take the step

Hi! Alberto here
Soo it turns out that I'm a father of a 6 months old baby.

I wanted to make my own products since forever but never did it because you know...life, money, time...but this has made me realize that I don't want to be in an office 40 - 50 hours a week working for other people.

Here I am! I'm an indie hacker and freelance developer now. I just launched my first MVP, a product dicovery site in spanish , got my first freelance contract and I'm happier than ever.

Feels good to be part of the community!

Same here. Having a child was extra motivation for me to make a living as an indie hacker, on my own time and pace

Good for you man, congratulations! How is it going with combining the two worlds?

Thanks! I set a limit to my freelance work of 5 hours/day and the 2-3 hours left are for my projects (and then the baby 😅)
