Setting goals and establishing habits is a great idea for moving forward in life! Unfortunately, setting goals and defining new habits is actually the easy part — following through is the challenge!
Often times, a lack of accountability can become a problem. If no one will notice if you slack off, skipping a habit can become enticing. So how can we increase accountability?
I have read many times that an accountability partner can help a lot. The idea is to partner up with person with whom you meet regularly and discuss how the last week went in terms of habits and goals.
Knowing that you will be talking to someone about your progress will motivate you to stick to your plan, follow your habits and move closer to your goal.
