Today is a special day because I finally hit $1K MRR 🥳
So what's my business?
I run a design agency called Instantly we do product, web & branding design services for startups and solopreneurs. We currently charge $539/mo and we're planning to raise it to $1299/mo by next week. So claim your spot before our pricing goes up 👀
So how did I do it?
My only marketing strategy to getting clients is Twitter, I post almost everyday and regularly share my design work. You can follow me there if you want 🤝
What's next?
My main goal is $10k MRR by the end of the year, and I believe I can do it before that but let's see what we can do

That's outstanding that the only marketing you've done is on Twitter! Did you have a strong twitter flowing to start? If not how did you build your following?
Thank you 😀 Wen I started I only had 100 followers. How I did it is I tried to build connections are engage with other designers and founders and share my design work everyday

Great idea with the design as a service. I had an agency till last year and i was thinking of setting something up like this. Do you run this completely solo? How will you handle all the clients? Start hiring someone when you go up 10 clients etc?

how maintainable is the work load?
It took me 2 months. My strategy is post everyday on twitter and share design work I did for past clients
Currently I have no churn all clients are using subscription. But maybe in the near future will have churn 😅
My workload is not that big as you imagine, it takes 4 to 6 h a day to finish client requests

In the beginning, what are the elements you consider in pricing your product/service?
I tried to make my service as affordable as possible because I want people to feel stupid or missing out for not trying it. I started charging $50 to $539 and will probably make it higher soon.
Well done. What is the business model that your customers want to work in recurring way (monthly fee)? Web and branding design seems like a single job for one customer.

Thanks! the customers found me through Twitter! and they were already convinced because they saw my design work on twitter too
