9 Great Questions To Ask In Your First Podcast Interview
Before reading Stop Asking Questions, I was a bit unsure on how to structure my interviews and what sort of questions to ask so that it's not just a random mesh.
In the book, the author Andrew Warner talks about structuring your interviews using the Hero's Journey method that I wrote more about here.
However, if you're looking for some help in finding out what questions to ask in your first podcast interview, here are 9 great ones:
- What were you doing before you started your company?
- What led you to start your business?
- How did you deal with [input their obstacle]?
- Did you sell a lot of [input their product] at first?
- How did you learn to sell?
- How did you finally get sales?
- So after that, was it all smooth sailing?
- Why didn't you give up on your idea?
- How's your business doing today?
