Mobile users conversion rate vs desktop

I'm sharing my project with a few reddit communities, and am seeing about 60% of users from mobile devices. My website works best on desktop.

I'm wondering if you all have seen lower conversion, retention etc from mobile users, or any tips how to get people to use the "desktop" version?
