For me Quality matters for than quantity. I started a small website and in my niche I saw alot of people posting 2-3 posts on daily basis and when I saw my progress I was hardly publishing 3-4 Posts weekly but my 3-4 post on my niches were of high quality I didn't left a single stone un turn and add every possible detail in side the post.
I somehow manage to rank higher on google search and when I saw their website they were hardly competing on page 2-3. That was definitely a sigh of relief.
You are absolutely right that quality matters more than quantity when it comes to SEO-optimized blog posts. While it's important to create a consistent stream of content to keep your website fresh and relevant, it's equally important to ensure that each post is well-written, informative, and engaging. This not only helps to improve your search engine rankings, but also helps to build trust and credibility with your audience. Instead of trying to write as many posts as possible in a short amount of time, consider focusing on creating a smaller number of high-quality posts that provide real value to your readers. This can help you establish yourself as an authority in your niche and attract more traffic over time.
I'm just getting started. Do you have a template format or best practices for a complete noob
Sure! It's in the video description actually, feel free to grab it

100% agree with this. We use the same strategy in VEED.io where there is a lot put into the pillar posts that are huge and super valuable.
It's worth doing 1 post a week that is well made, resourceful, valuable, and unique from your POV.
With this, we wanted to kick start and push ourselves to do blogs continuously. Opening up the dam :D
