Do you think there's going to be a Hotwire announcement at Railsconf?
The word on the street is that rails 7 is not far away and that it will use Hotwire out of the box. Possibly even without Webpacker.
I have concerns about not having webpacker. If that's the only way, I might end up separating the client again.
I heard that it might just become ‘opt-in’ so still an option. The replacement that was being talked about in the podcast was ‘snow pack’which is meant to be super powerful, quick, but without some of the bullshit of webpacker.
