Digital Ocean's App Platform?

Recently Digital Ocean released their platform as service. Of course, it seems similar to Heroku, and others, but it appears to be simpler to use than Heroku because it doesn't require a YAML file to spin up a server.

Over at Amezmo, we've been building a similar service exclusively for PHP apps. I spoke to a few of our customers and they told me their pain points. A few pieces of feedback I've received regarding DO's platform:
