Marketplace Matching as a Service?

Marketplaces have been around for a good while now and it is pretty clear that one of their central values is to match supply and demand in the best way possible. In digital products, this is done by some sort of matching mechanism/algorithm.
It follows that each company is creating its own matching solution that is proprietary and customized to the business case.

However, a marketplace needs to start somewhere and I find it highly questionable whether every marketplace startup develops a sophisticated matching solution right away. My personal experience is that for their MVP, startups usually resolve to some very basic matching that is essentially a weighted average calculation based on a number of relevant factors.

Take a job board as an example. In the beginning, you start out with pretty limited data both on the company as well as on the applicant side. Which other option do you have besides selecting a fixed number of factors from each side when they enter your marketplace and then calculate some number to assess the match?
You simply don't have enough data for some serious machine-learning-based solution.

As a result of this, I believe that a lot of startups are essentially building something very similar for their MVP. Also, not having found any solution that enables even non-technical founders to create a matching solution, I believe that the wheel gets reinvented here many times. To enable more founders to start a marketplace startup right away, an out-of-the-box solution seems perfect.

The idea is to build a SaaS solution that provides the user with a toolkit to
(a) create a basic matching logic,
(b) integrate it in whatever their whole tech stack is,
(c) and perform the matching whenever it is needed.

Now, the questions are:
(1) Is there any service like this out there?
(2) Is there any fault in my logic here, something like an oversimplification of the matching idea?
(3) What are the technical barriers of a solution like that?

Would love to discuss this concept with you and find out whether it is something worth giving a try. :)

It is a good question. There is a lot of information about Marketplace especially NFT Marketplace on the web, so it`s hard to find valuable. I had the same question before so I read a lot. Well, I managed to find guys from 4IRE and they have a great experience in blockchain development. I hope you will find something new for you in NFT Marketplace for p2e development guide as I did.
