    • Continuing writing draft articles to start SEO seeds

    • Rough out scheduled emails
    • Setup marketing website to publish first two articles

I hear you on AWS ;) It took me all day to figure out how to delete items from a list in DynamoDB, was looking for the easy way out :)

  2. 3

    Last Week
I tackled some difficult challenges (for me), and did some deep dives into learning.

    • Adjusted the name of Announcr Speaker App to AnnouncrBot
    • Using server->API Gateway->Lambda->DynamoDB to add "Channels" to AnnouncrBots. This lets me use a single WebSocket per Bot, and channels can filter for the Bots who are actually members of the channel without doing one by one DB reads + socket writes.
    • Created an audio-only admin-auth function so that a user can gain admin access to their AnnouncrBot without seeing the display for it.
    • Created a basic page for Channels
    • I discovered Rally Coin and its economy for Creators. I'm trying to do something where Creators can monetize with AnnouncrBot, so this is a perfect fit. Super excited about it, because Stripe isn't that great for micro-transactions. I spent a few days learning about it and building a coin dashboard as a side distraction...

    This Week

    • Build a form which allows an AnnouncrBot to join a channel. I have the API commands for this already, but working out the schedule is going to be a pain
    • Build some content scheduling options which don't overly stress the server or cause me to build a bunch of scheduling jobs. I'm thinking of letting the AnnouncrBot handle its own scheduling, as it's best aware of its own Do Not Disturb hours, etc
    • Draft some language about using a Rally Coin with AnnouncrBot. I know the coin I'll be using, but it's not been released yet :)

    ** Goal for the month**

    • AnnouncrBot can subscribe to a channel and specify the schedule on which it receives the content

    Project: AnnouncrBot!
Delightful Content and Notifications Out Loud.

    Hello pals,

    Here is my weekly update.

    Last week

The last two week has been busy with clients work. Unfortunately, I was swamped with work that I was not able to even write my weekly update.

    Writing
I managed to write two blog posts during the week.

    Reading
I still have three books that I am yet to finish reading. I don't know how but I find myself starting a book and not finishing to read it. I guess I get a recommendation then start reading the other book.

    The books are:

Book 1: 80/20 Principle: The Secret to Achieving More with Less- by Richard Koch ( Unfinished)

    Key takeaway

Every entrepreneur should find and focus on the 20 percent that contributes to 80 percent of their total revenue. By doing this you will find that you are more productive.

When you start your day ask yourself what is this one thing that if I only had 5 minutes to my last breath that I can do to save my business. In short start with the most urgent priority that you can't do without.

Book 2: Steal Like an Artist- Austin Kleon (finished)

    Key takeaway

Art is theft even the greatest artist stole their work from someplace.

Kobe Bryant once said during an interview " I have stolen all of these moves from all these great players. I just try to do them proudly than the guy who came before me/ I learn so much from them, it's all in the name of the game"

Star copying what you love, copy, copy, copy, copy at the end of the copy you will find yourself.

Finally, if you ever find you're the most talented person in the room you need to find another room then copy from the best.

Book 3 E-Myth Revisited: Why Small Business Don't Work and What to Do About It -Micheal. E. Gerber. (Unfinished)

    Key takeaway
The problem is everyone who gets into business is actually three people in one.

    • An entrepreneur
    • The manager
      -The technician
All these people must find harmony and work together. Even if you are a very skilled technician who believes that you must do everything by yourself. At some point, you will be limited. You will need a manager who will help you plan and finally, to be successful you will need to have to think like an entrepreneur who creates a business that works without him or her.

I was also able to read many blog posts mostly on blogging tips. My best blog post this week was https://nesslabs.com/mindful-productivity-audit?ck_subscriber_id=1121229103&utm_source=convertkit&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Maker+Mind%3A+Interview+with+the+co-founder+of+Notion+✅ - 5501972

The productivity audit was awesome and I would like to apply each and every tip of the 10 productivity hucks.

    This week
I have some client work to finish which is top of my priority. Work toward establishing a morning and evening routine.

    Writing

    • Show up each morning write and post 1,000 words per day for 5 days.
    • Dedicate Sunday evening to write my weekly review

    Reading

    • Finish the already started book, take notes of what you read, Read blogs and newsletter.

My best newsletter, for now, is Nesslabs by Ann Laure Le Cunff and Pro blogger.

I started reading fiction as well. From now it's better to read fiction one hour before you sleep than watch TV. Currently reading the Stand by the man himself Stephen King.

    This month

I want to take my blogging a top-notch higher. This is by showing up each day 5- times a week. I also want to start a weekly newsletter to be published every week. My goal is to reach 300 subscribers by the end of April 2021. Currently, I have 14o subscribers at www. belindakendi.com/

My www.dogfoodreviewz.com site should also grow and reach 50 subscribers. I plan to show up at least twice a week with the best of articles, how-to articles, and reviews.

That's all for today see you on Sunday 28/03/2021 for my next update.

    Good luck.
