I might prioritise getting feedback from potential customers. This is helpful as it would enable me to understand the next steps with my product development: what features need improving, which ones are redundant, what I'm doing well etc.

Absolutely agree! Feedbacks are invaluable. I've found that direct insights from potential users often illuminate the path forward. It's like having a roadmap for fine-tuning. Would love to hear more about your product and how feedback shapes its evolution!

yeah, I learnt this lesson as I was struggling to write the UI of my web app for music recommendation, when I realised a friend of mine was involved in graphic design, so I asked him for advise and feedback. It definitely helped speed the process along much quicker when he gave me tips, and it optimised the look of the app a lot better than I would've been able to do by myself!

It's amazing how collaborating and leveraging the skills of friends can elevate a project! Since you've experienced the power of feedback firsthand, I'd love to hear your thoughts on https://calmmind.ai. Any insights you could provide would be invaluable. Hope your music recommendation app is thriving!

Yeah, I checked out CalmMind, and I think it's a very well thought out product. I like how the website makes it easy for the viewer to understand the product with the three numbered paragraphs, and the graphics below it. I also thought the wellness assessment was clear and understandable to go through, and not too long. I liked how in the results email, the AI gives its assessment, in the form of a percentage, on the four areas of mental health.

I would perhaps recommend giving the user an option to receive their results at the end of the test without needing to provide an email? This might help prevent in "scaring off" some potential users in case they don't feel comfortable sending in an email. Also in the results email, you could provide some resources for the users next to the lines, eg next to the part saying "Practice... mindfulness meditation", you could send links for resources to practice meditation.

Excellent product, can't wait to see what happens next with it!

Also, I am considering developing an app involving visualising data for environmentalism, but I'm still in the early stage of discovering what problem I want my app to solve, or what area of environmentalism I want to have an impact in. If you have any ideas, from the point of a consumer, of any issues you find environmentally (eg recycling, using solar panels, reforestation), or even any recommendations for sites with datasets that can be used commercially, I would love to hear them to give me inspiration for a future app!

            Cheers

Thanks a ton for the detailed feedback on CalmMind! It's golden to get insights like these. I appreciate the suggestion about the results without needing an email and providing resources links to improve mental health; it's something I'll definitely ponder on.

Regarding your environmentalism app idea, it's truly a noble cause. One area I've noticed gaining traction is "sustainable consumerism." Maybe an app that helps consumers make eco-friendly choices by visualizing the impact of their purchases? Just a thought!

For datasets, you might want to check out Kaggle or Hugging Face; they've got a plethora of them, some of which are environmental-focused and can be used commercially.

Great, that's very helpful, thank you. I will definitely check out those websites! Hope all your endeavours with your app find success!

Strategic Planning & Content Creation: strategic initiatives to grow my business. It could be creating a project plan for a new app, working on a new feature my users have been looking for, or even creating some content that can help me promote my apps.

    1. 1

That sounds fantastic! Crafting a strategy is key. I've also been diving into user-requested features for my app. It’s transformative how such feedback can guide growth. Let's exchange insights sometime!

This is about my situation, 1 hour-ish per day in the workweek at least. I'm spending so much time right now developing systems.

For example: instead of posting something on social, I'm figuring out and writing down the process for posting repeatedly. And how I can come up with content over and over.

Setting up good accounting instead of just writing down transactions to organize later, etc.

It makes it feel like I'm going slow but hoping it will be a better foundation for the long term

    1. 1

That's a fantastic approach! 🌟 Systemizing and laying down processes early on can indeed feel slow, but it's like setting strong roots for a tree to grow tall and sturdy. Your focus on creating sustainable systems will surely pay off in the long run, allowing you to scale smoothly. Kudos for the foresight and best of luck with your venture! Keep going! 🚀

    I would prioritize

    • Marketing
    • Building automated business sytems
    1. 2

That's a smart approach! Marketing is the heart of reaching audiences, and automating business systems can free up so much time in the long run. Thanks for sharing your strategy. It's always enlightening to see what fellow entrepreneurs prioritize! 🚀

    2. 1

When it comes to marketing, do you have a specific channel or tactic that you've found most effective? And as for automating business systems, are there any tools or software you swear by?
