How we do meetings sucks. Remote work needs new tools...

The way we work has changed massively in the last two years. Yet the way we do meetings is a throwback to the physical office of the early 2000s:

None of this is how remote or hybrid teams work. Sometimes you need to meet right now because new information just surfaced, and if you can't make the meeting (because you are in Singapore, or in deep work mode etc) that shouldn't mean you can't participate asynchronously. Today's collaboration tools are the digital equivalents of yesterday's analogue approach. The new ways we work means we need new tools.
