I'm trying to validate an idea - building a free freelancer network.
No commissions taken from freelancers (I have an alternative business model in mind).
Focused on making freelancers part of teams, getting equity, etc.
Potentially user-owned (maybe through a token).

Looks great!
Perhaps a bit much switching between the narrow and wide typeface makes it look busy.
I would try to do the main headline on three lines to make it more balanced. That way, the illustration could be a little bit bigger as well.
I would add a preamble under the main headline and move the rest of the text further down. Now it's quite a lot of information above the fold.
The letter-style 'Why are we building a freelancer network' feels calmer and more focused.
