Tell me about your product, and I will find Reddit leads to grow your business

[Update July 11, 12 pm pacific time]
"Hi everyone, thanks to all who responded, nice meeting y'all, and really appreciated your feedback, hope the leads are helpful.

I am gonna take a break from here, for those that we missed, please feel free to join ReplyCat for a free trial."

[Original post:]
Happy Saturday everyone!

I launched my first product SQLPad 2 years ago but failed to find any paid customers until I started organically mentioning it on Reddit.

The first 100 paid customers almost all came from Reddit. Now SQLPad is a $10K MRR product.

I then automated the search and discovery by creating an NLP engine to scan some of the subreddits so I don't have to manually watch them.

When there was a fit, I would jump in, share my expertise and contribute to the discussion, and organically mention my product if possible, sometimes I didn't add a link to my product, but people still come to my website after looking at my profile.

Here is what I need if you are interested:

  1. Describe what your product does (elevator pitch) in one short paragraph.
The better you explain what your product does and the problem it solves, the more accurate the model can learn.

  2. I will add your product to our watch queue and reply back here if there is a match over this weekend (next ~48 hours).

  3. Name at least 1 subreddit you are particularly interested in, just in case it's not included in our watch list.

  4. (Optional) if you want to keep receiving Reddit leads in the future, feel free to add your product to Segue's waiting list .

Cheers,

Working on three ideas at the moment:

    1. getwaitlist.com -- Launch a pre-launch waitlist with built-in referrals in minutes
    2. y.gy -- A link shortener and QR code creator
    3. updatemaker.com -- Easily inform users of new features and changes to your product as in-app notifications instead of a separate changelog

What an interesting idea and cool product @imranK

Found 2 posts that might be relevant to your product:

      2. I need feedback on pre-launch landing page.

Let me know what you think and I can fine tune the parameters to improve the match for you!

This is a great idea. Curious if you have paying customers for this yet? (if you don't mind sharing) Also, does every subscriber get the same 3 ideas each month?

      P.S. I write a weekly newsletter called 3 ideas on Sunday haha. Very similar. ( 3ideasonsunday.com )

tapthe.link - a link that can skip tiktok/IG browsers and open apps directly

If you are a Marketing Agency running an FB Ad for an X product on Amazon.

**Normal Way ** - Click on the Link - Try to Buy - You are not signed in

**Our Way ** - Click on the link - > Redirects to the App -> You hit on buy and done

This can redirect to apps of YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Amazon.

We even support custom apps redirection on request
and can also help with referral link building

Wow, I really like this idea! Sounds like a solution to many modern problems with social media.
Do you mind sharing how is this achieved from the technical perspective?

  13. 2

Hey Leon! Thank you for this amazing opportunity.

My friend and I have been building https://engagementbuilder.com for about 2 months and we just launched it.

It's an engagement-centric platform focused on reducing time and improving productivity when it comes to building your personal/business brand on Twitter.

It doesn't have a schedule option, but rather different features to help you build your Twitter audience through engagement, or to manage your current one. It really does reduce the time spent on Twitter by, at least, 30%.

I would love to hear your opinion!

      1. 2

        Thank you for your answer!

So we are just starting out, but the most growth we saw from our own, personal, content, and lately from our blog.

We are trying to work on our SEO game earlier so we can reap the benefits sooner.

So far we only had our Twitter active, but we're planning on doing some other things like videos, maybe even TikTok and YT.

        1. 1

Thanks for sharing your growth strategy, sounds promising!

Once you have a lot of content, (hopefully) getsegue.com can help you find related discussions on Reddit to effectively distribute them.

This is my product: Company 360
I created this app based on my work designing apps for institutional investors (research teams).

    AppStore link: (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/company-360/id1464857130)

Download is free. App has free and subscription features.

Company 360 is a research tool for retail investors that use bare-bones trading platforms.

Helps with due diligence on the public company before investing. The main purpose of the app is to reduce investment risk.

Company 360 pulls together company profile, investors, insider trading and annual/quarterly financial statements. Analysis includes:

    • Valuation based on key indicators, P/E Ratio and prof. Benjamin Graham (Warren Buffett’s teacher) formulas for intrinsic value.

    • Formulas and input data are explained in detail.

    • Dividend Yield calculation.

Formulas below are based on academic research:

    • Magic Formula Screener.

    • Financial Strength (Piotroski F-Score): Formula that identified financially strong companies even during crisis of 2007-2008.

    • Bankruptcy Test (Altman Z-Score): Formula to check if company is heading for bankruptcy.

    • Earnings Fraud Test (Beneish M-Score): Formula that exposed earnings manipulation by Enron.

    Sentiment:

    • Analysis against WallStreetBets forum on Reddit. Top 50 WSB trending stocks are used for sentiment analysis.

Dev Aviary makes learning cybersec fun & easy to grasp for devs! Other learning materials & platforms are confusing for beginners, don’t prepare you for things people actually care about (i. e. real world vulnerabilities, bug bounties), enterprise-focused, or not made for developers. We solve it by providing interactive, in-depth cybersec labs in your browser.

    Relevant subreddits might be:

    • r/HowToHack
    • r/ethicalhacking

I’m really curious — how do you usually organically mention your product? I’ve read your reply to DorianG with more explanation on this, but how do you know when it’s appropriate to mention Segue? Do you also DM your leads? Do you find that people actually go to your profile and find Segue this way?

Thanks so much Leon :) Can’t wait to check out Segue.

** Re: how do you usually organically mention your product? **
I'd usually spend more time answering questions and sharing and casually mention my product in the end.

If you spend some time browsing through a subreddit and others have left some links in their comments that were not removed, usually means the mod is not that strict.

Alternatively, you can also add a link to your article at the end, if the article is highly relevant to the post.

      Thanks!

      1. 2

Thank you so much for the links & explanation!

Follow the dots to find bugs! Headlamp plugs into your browser and reveals where you, your team, and your test automation are missing tests.

r/QualityAssurance and r/Selenium should be good subreddits to casually mention Headlamp. @LEONWEI, should I be concerned that r/Selenium forbids advertising?

    1. 1

Great question @DorianG and cool product.

Almost every subreddit forbids self advertising, but different subreddit have different rules so it's always a trial and error process, I'd recommend you focus on sharing your expertise, add values to the discussion first, then decide if you should leave a link to your product or an article that you wrote to the end.
(e.g., here is link to an article that I wrote in case you are interested to explore more details.)

If you feel uncomfortable mentioning your product, you can add your product in your profile (or the product logo in your profile image).

After my pastor told me about XAP Credit Solution. I reached out immediately and complied with all that he said, after about four days I was asked to pull my report to confirm the job has been done. I can't seem to be able to find great leads (perhaps there are no relevant discussions at the moment? Or it could be the product description is a little too general?

Anyway, I will add your product to our queue and keep watching it.

Will reply back if I find anything. : )

gitline.io is a tool for developers to write code walkthroughs. It can be used for creating tutorials or presentations but its main focus is helping with code reviews.

Not really sure about subreddit, tho. I had some success with /r/codereview and the biggest one of interest is probably r/learnprogramming/

My product is fabform.io an intelligent anti-spam forms backend. You don't need a website backend, so it is ideal for people who use static websites generators SSG
    like Hugo, Jekyll etc.

Fabform allows you to create form endpoints to manage all your forms submissions, add form captcha , send email notifications to both the form submitter and the form owner.

It has a universal inbox if you wish to share access to form submissions as well offer form integrations with 3rd party services like Google Sheets and Airtable. As of this moment fabform is FREE.

I will be adding a paid PLUS plan down the road. Check fabform.io out !

You actually have dozens of different credit scores and the only one that matters is the one your lender is looking at.
My request to get a loan to purchase a car got denied by my lenders due to my low credit score on experian and fico.
The amazing thing is I got referred to (CREDITHERO123 AT G MAIL DOT COM) by a popular credit company called lexingtin
because they could not get my credit boosted to what i wanted . I am so glad i got his contact because he changed my life
with a month by removing all the bad items on my credit and giving me a score of 800 on all bureaus . dont miss out on this
great opportunity if you intend getting your credit fixed .
