Duck Duck Go is beta-testing their privacy-friendly Mac browser 💪

It's slightly absurd that DuckDuckGo has waited until 2022 to have a browser app. The article says until now they only had a mobile one.

The concept of a fire button is a home run though, in my opinion. I could definitely use it. Wiping my browser history and cookies in Chrome is a more involved process than it needs to be. I think overtime DDG has some runway. Privacy is going to continue to be one of the biggest topics in technology for some time to come.

Good news, if you ask me. Apparently it can even get rid of those annoying cookie popups. Check out the article for info on how to sign up.

I've heard that Safari is actually very privacy-friendly... I guess I just have a hard time believing it. I currently use Brave and it's actually pretty great.
