It's very on-brand for me to be pro-mentorship, but I really think it's one of the best ways to grow professionally :)
The mentors group is a place to connect with fellow IndieHackers for mentorship and advice – but also for mentors to talk shop and sharing stories.
Making the start here: I am the founder of MentorCruise, where I've set my goal to connect tech workers, managers and founders with a mentor. As part of that, I've also mentored around ~20 people in a formal setting since 2018.
Other than feeding off my own platform, it has also allowed me to connect with folks around the world – I've had mentees from Spain, Germany, the UK, US, Japan and Australia. My Australian mentee actually told me it would be strange to call me Dominic instead of Dom, so that's the calling name I usually prefer since then :)
