What are the best practices you know for engagement on Reddit?

I an pretty new to Reddit, I like its content and I understand its mechanics, but I am still not sure what is the right way to leverage Reddit to build engagement about my newsletter and products.
I am not talking about fake engagement (plenty of upvotes, empty comments, etc), I am asking about actual good engagement strategies.

Thanks in advance!
