How do you negotiate your salary?

How to negotiate the salary when usually the person (interviewer) asks you directly how much you want to earn?

Since we usually say a value above what you would accept to earn, so we can't show that, but we don't want to be dismissed either...

I personally follow these three simple questions, what about you?

1. What is the salary range for this position?
2. I'm still considering the salary, given the responsibilities and benefits of the opportunity.
3. I would like to know the salary range of the team before presenting my salary expectations, is it possible?
