I'll build you a website for free. Because I can't stand it anymore!

Ok.

I can't NOT say something.

Because it's getting a little ridiculous. 🤦

I know WAY too many strong, innovative creators that just have NO personal brand online whatsoever. And who, therefore, NEVER land any gigs they are MORE than qualified to do.

(Many of you here on Indie Hackers fit this bill.)

A strong personal brand is NON-NEGOTIABLE in 2021. Most anything that's happening is happening online. You can't just throw something up there and expect everyone to know who you are. 📢

If you don't have an online brand, you just don't have a brand. Sorry.

So here's what I'm offering -- I'm dead serious.

If you can demonstrate that you are SERIOUS about building an online brand, and you have some awesome content to show for it, I WILL BUILD YOU A WEBSITE. 👨‍💻️

Domain, hosting, layout, content. The whole shebang.

I'm dead serious.

I'll do it for free (you pay only for the domain + $5/month for hosting).

I enjoy this work. I want YOU to succeed.

Heck, I'll even throw in a custom email address. No more [email protected] on your professional resume.

(DM me at @NickFreiling on Twitter. Don't say I never did anything for ya!)

I checkout out the sites you've made and I get what you mean about building an online brand and identity. You sites have a unique presence of their own in terms of content and design!

And it's amazing how you want to build sites for other for free, there are lots of people who would benefit from your offer.

As for me, I'd like to get better at building an identity for my products so I can learn more for future projects. So instead of having you built a website, I'd like your feedback on what you think about the website for a product that is in it's pre/soft launch state.

You can check it out the website here and I'd love to know what you think about, the good and the bad.

I definitely think you need more screenshots. Frankly, I'm not even sure what your interface looks like from this website, and it seems that this is supposed to be all about the interface.

I'd start there -- screenshots-first. Everything else needs to draw attention to those.

        Thanks for the feedback Nick!

And instead of adding more screenshots, what do you think about replacing the first screenshot with a video instead?
The video would show the basic usage of the apps along with it's use cases, so users can get a better understanding of the app and it's interface.
Maybe the video could auto play when the user reaches that section?

And apart from adding more visuals about the product, what else would you suggest?

Here's another example that's not quite so difficult to pull off:

This would be a big improvement.

It's a lofty goal, but I'd aim for something like this:

          https://modulesystem.design/

I think most people will need to see your product in action before they try it.

Wow, that's a value-packed proposition and you're sites look great

Thanks! And yes, I'm serious about it. I meet too many talented people who's (lack of) online brand completely holds them back.

Got a website already but the design was really quick and not the best.
