Seeking intermediate-advanced Python ebook recommendations

Over the upcoming winter holidays I'd like to read some good Python books.

I'd appreciate your recommendations that meet these requirements. I'm looking for recent, intermediate or advanced ebooks (no print-only works) published over the past year or so, and covering only or mostly Python. I'd prefer project-based books such as Automating the Boring Stuff with Python or Impractical Python Projects, but I'm open to other topics except game development.

Bonus points if the author is an indie developer or writer. You're welcome to recommend your own books as long as they meet all the requirements.

    Hey Paolo!

I'm probably late for you, but I seriously loved Cosmic Python, also known as Architecture Patterns with Python.

It explains a lot of smart patterns for organizing your python project, things like the Repository pattern, Unit of Work Pattern, and the like.

I will be re-reading this again soon!

Thanks, there's always time for great books like this.

I ended up getting Hello Web App: Learn How to Build a Web App by Tracy Osborn. So far I'm liking it. It provides just enough details to get up to speed without too much information. And it doesn't skip advanced or useful Django features.

Thanks, I had actually found that list on Reddit too and linked it from my own list of free Python books. So far I haven't received any other recommendations.
