Need a website solution - What do you recommend?

I've been using swipepages for 1 page landing pages for a while. I've used wordpress in the past hosted on a custom hosting account. I'm looking for a cheap / free solution that will let me build and manage a website, supporting blogs and forms. I'm looking for drag and drop building. Easy to maintain?

As a web developer, Here is my suggestion:

If you are looking for a free solution, Create a landing page using WordPress CMS. Which is free. The only cost will be the domain and hosting yearly renewal fee. Which is not a lot.

If you are looking for a dev to build your landing pages cheaply, check www.kazied.com

    Thanks.

Thanks. I'm leaning towards settling back on WordPress. I have some lifetime hosting accounts to use and this will be my cheapest bet right now.

If you have already used WordPress, then I think this is the best solution you can use to publish content and utilize the drag and drop feature. You can also utilize free themes and plugins for your website.

For making your website unique and presentable so that user stopped on your website. For this you know the development part very well. So you can go for good course for learning.

Typedream has been great for me. It's really to use for me as a non-technical builder.

I also like Framer and Yep.so

Is not possible use wordpress for that? There are some plugins (as elementor) and themes (generatepress) that let you personaliza your website on their premium service.

I use wordpress on my blog, is a really good CMS and it's free!

How about SlashPage? It may not create perfectly designed pages but like Notion. it allows you to write lightly while providing helpful analytics information. And it's free.

    Cheap/Free sounds like WP.

If you decide it is worth spending a little more so you don't have to maintain and manage your site I built https://versoly.com/

We have a lot of indie hackers, it is no-code but has a code editor built-in so you don't have to learn the UI as a developer.

Versoly looks nice. Neat editor. Not for me at the moment though.
