Guide: Growing from 1.9k views to 40k in one month!
Ok. I increased his views by 2400% in 27 days. Here's how.
He was a music producer/content creator getting fewer views each month and almost no sales on his program (music course).
Pain points – Part one
We started working together... and I found a few key pain points:
Multi-channel strategy. Uploading the same content to different platforms isn’t a ‘’content strategy’’, it’s stupid. Each platform should serve the bigger picture.
Empathy was another key point. Give customers real value, not just what you think they want. Do your homework.
So... Followers were not connecting emotionally as expected, and this was due to a bad branding strategy. Customer needs weren't being met.
Solutions – Part two
Things were going down, so we put our efforts into these main strategies:
First, we fixed our social media platforms, giving each its own identity. This encourages the viewer to get closer and become a buyer. Omnichannel identity.
Give people what they want. Value is decided by your followers, not by you. People didn’t want difficult technical tutorials; they wanted to be entertained.
Then, we created a customer roadmap, fixing our UX. We made it aesthetic, clear, concise, and fun.
Finally, we created a hero journey. Every detail counts, so we counted them. Colors, clothes, sounds, descriptions, tone, attitude... The bottom line is this: Create a new identity to connect with people.
Conclusion
Our final roadmap looked something like this:
- YouTube Shorts/TikTok
- YouTube Videos
- Landing page
So... was it all worth it? Not really. Our goals were met, but he ended up scamming me and didn't pay.

Not really, asking them only would've shown me what they say, but not what they think/want. Its almost entirely watching what is working for others...

Thanks for asking, but sadly my daily work isnt as fun as its posted by everyone on twitter haha. I thought about posting them as well but 99% are only long emails or just whatsapp conversations... Thanks for the idea though, I should've posted at least a few graphics

Didnt pay you after all that work?? Did you have a contract in place?
Sadly no. I contacted him via email and the idea was to keep working together and create a contract, but he later told me that his idea was to make me work for free for at least 3/4 more months.
Damn sorry man, next time you should agree on a contract checked by a lawyer before you do anything. You clearly also have the skills needed so you don't need to work for free unless you're just trying to build up a portfolio of testimonials early on.

We started working together with the promise that he was going to pay me. When he told me he couldn't I asked him for the minimum wage for the hours worked, so at least I wouldn't leave empty handed, but he didn't.

I think it's a not bad result especially for a narrow niche of data analytics.
But I want to improve especially results of my youtube channel in English.
I used many tricks from famous creators but it haven't helped.
I realized that I need a better strategy and right now I'm learning new ways. one of the points of the new strategy I want to try shorts it might boost youtube videos.
