How I rank #1 in Apple Podcasts for "demand generation" 👇

1️⃣ The simple stuff

Insert the relevant keywords into the RSS feed's name, description and keywords fields.

Apple Podcasts SEO is like Google SEO 15 years ago.

2️⃣ Get listed in "top [[niche]] podcasts"

Google "best demand generation podcasts", and you should find a list or lists that include us... this isn't by accident 🤓

Build a list of posts, reach out and offer something (backlink, cash, a guest spot) in exchange for getting featured.

3️⃣ Innovate

The podcasts in your niche are evolving, are you?

I recently started releasing solo episodes breaking down the growth of SaaS businesses, some of these are now some of the most downloaded episodes.

4️⃣ Be interested

Only bring on guests that truly interest you. If you aren't interested, neither will your audience.

5️⃣ Climb the guest ladder

Grind it out and get lucky to land your first big-name guest, then leverage them to get all the other famous people in your niche.

6️⃣ Be consistent

You build a bond with your listeners with each episode. Don't break it.

Do you mean on the site/blog where you're serving your podcast basically? Like basically do a bunch of guest posts? I wasn't aware that Apple Podcast pays any attention to the site associated with your podcast? Or is it that they pay attention to Google's rankings for the keywords?
