Hi there

Hello, I'm Vanya. I do iOS and macOS development, design and copy.

I've been following IH for years in lurker mode. Stories of fellow hackers fascinated me a lot and made me start my own projects. Actually, I failed three projects before – because of fear. I was too scared building them in public.

Now I'm working on Life Atlas. It's a Mac app that helps you fight procrastination and make you more mindful. In short, it's a life in weeks calendar on your desktop. The app idea is based on Tim Urban's post "Your Life in Weeks".

Sounds like you are heading the right direction.

If I'm reading this right, you're building something to serve your needs, which is crucial for motivation and getting immediate user feedback immediately.

I definitely think of my life in how much I can accomplish in a week, and love that you reference that 2014 blog post.
