Outer Space Shack - my first video game project 2 months on

I discussed here 2 months ago the idea I had to create a realistic current-era space colonization program.

Those two months have not been idle, with more than a few nights learning the ropes of Unity, Blender, and the generally good infrastructure for video-game development. I especially found the number and quality of tutorial video available on Youtube impressive.

In the process, I developed the space center where rockets are launched, and base placement on the Moon. You may want to check the subreddit to get the latest screenshots and videos.

I am now confident in my ability to deliver a game that works, and clearly, my experience in managing complex code projects helps a lot. A video-game is a lot of components to assemble, so there is a risk of writing huge spaghetti code.

So what are the hard nuts left to crack ? A good game needs music. There are also elements harder to model without being a graphical designer, such a material textures, human body animations, particles (smoke, explosions...). I may purchase assets for this. There is, by the way, a huge market so a few hundred dollars may really make a difference.
