Do investors invest in solo founders in 2021?

I've never attempted to get any investment funds, but this is something I've been interested in. However, in pretty much everything I've heard or read, it says that you need at least 2 or 3 founders in order to be taken seriously by most investment firms. Has this changed in 2021? Any examples of people getting investors as a solo founder?

it's been happening and am sure still does - DropBox, Amazon, Tumblr all only had 1 founder
