It makes a lot of sense to me, given that I recently stayed in a hotel in Delhi, India when I came back from Vientiane, Laos. Hotels are shared spaces and conveniently available in most business locations. But at this time people want more private space, with a work desk and separate access. AirBnb would be able to fill that need.
I did alot of travelling in the last 1.5 months and it's a no-brainer to use serviced apartments or AirBnB.
Hotel Cons:
AirBnB Pros:
I'll only use hotels now for short unplanned business trips I think, and since remote work is the standard now I see less and less of those happening.
