Quickly Enable / Disable Coupon Codes For Your Stripe Payment Links, For Black Friday

Posting this a little bit late but hopefully this free Apple Shortcut will help some people disable coupon codes again after Black Friday. I hope it's ok to share this here, I'm guessing there's a lot of Stripe users in the community - mods - please delete it if it's not.

Customers feel like they’re getting a bad deal if they don’t have a coupon code and see the option to enter one on the checkout page. So use this Apple Shortcut to quickly enable / disable promotion (coupon) codes for multiple Payment Links, for events like Black Friday.

After configuring your settings, just paste your Payment Link's IDs into the Shortcut and run it to update them.

Back story — I created this Shortcut for myself and then figured I should share it with other creators. I make Notion templates (as @aNotioneer) and sell them using Stripe's Payment Links. I also work as a Notion consultant and receive payments from my clients with Stripe's Invoices.

Stripe's an incredible service but obviously it's primarily designed for developers. Apple Shortcuts enable you to connect with Stripe's API and automate repetitive tasks, whether it's updating multiple PLs or Products, charging an invoice from your phone or fetching your latest sales stats.

I've made quite a few of these Shortcuts already so if they're well received, I'll share more in the future, you can register to receive email updates here.
