My start as a freelancer

My journey as a software developer started early, when I was around 13 years old (21 years ago), writing my first HTML pages. Back then, the Internet was still in its infancy and there was limited learning material available for aspiring developers. I had to delve into the source code of other websites to understand how certain things worked.

After finishing school, I opted for a training program as an automobile mechatronics technician. However, I soon realized that my passion for IT was much stronger and decided to continue programming in my free time, familiarizing myself with various technologies such as Docker, Linux, MongoDB, Postgres, and React.

I worked at various companies, gaining valuable experience in the industry, before finally taking the leap into self-employment in October 2022.

Over the years, I have developed a broad range of skills and knowledge in software development and am now able to complete complex projects from start to finish. Whether it's creating a user-friendly website or a challenging application for business use, I'm ready to take on challenges and find solutions.

I am convinced that the future of technology and software development holds limitless possibilities and I am excited to continue learning and growing while supporting my clients in achieving their visions and goals.

As a self-employed software developer, I often work with different people on various projects. Each individual is responsible for a specific part of the project, and it can be challenging to keep track of all the details. This is why I am looking for a software solution that can help me manage this process.

The ideal software should simplify the management of individuals, companies, and the associated projects, allowing me to have a clear overview of who I have discussed what for each project. This way, I can easily access important information such as project progress, deadlines, and relevant contacts.

Having a centralized system to manage my projects would also allow me to better collaborate with my clients and team members. With the ability to easily share project information, track changes and receive real-time updates, I will be able to provide a higher level of service and increase overall efficiency.

In conclusion, I am looking for a software that can streamline my project management process and provide me with the tools to better manage my clients and projects. This will not only help me keep track of my work, but also allow me to deliver better results and grow my business.

Can someone recommend a good software for me? I've thought about developing a minimum viable product (MVP) to simplify my work.

    Hey Lars. Great post, mate.

Although I'm not a techie nor have an answer to your question, these are similar sentiments I hear in the world of entertainment.

Producers of film and TV have a very hard time managing people, and companies who "specialize" in the space of building vertically integrated products (payroll, production accounting, gnatt charts, etc) all suck.

If anyone is willing, there's a massive disruption opportunity here. This coming from a Finance Director in the entertainment biz of 15 years. You'll be surprised how rudimentary the solutions of these companies are.

That said, hope you find what you're looking for on this platform!
