April updates for MotionShot!

I am entering into the 4th month of MotionShot since inception. It has been a roller coaster ride but still, it is my first product which made revenue. I am happy to share that I made $7k+ in revenue so far and the product has been shaping up really well.

I have been maintaining a community for the MotionShot customers and that has been the reason for such an amazing updates to the product. They have been guiding me what is required and what isn't.

April month has been a peak month with amazing updates to the product. I have listed few of below. They are really helpful features to make guides for your products, tools, and SOPs. People have been loving these updates and lot of people have integrated MotionShot as part of their workflow and tools. Here are the updates in the month of April

🌊 Smoother highlights & Redact

The rectangle highlighting tool has been improved and gives a smoother and better transition in general. Along with this, now you can hide sensitive information using the new Redact tool.

↕️ Scale pointer, highlights & annotations

You can control the size of the pointer, and annotation on the guides. It comes in handy when the font size on the screenshot and the annotation are out of sync.

🗣️ Better non-English voice-over

The voice-over just got a lot better in terms of the non-English voice styles. I have configured a multilingual AI modal from Elevenlabs. Now you can also configure your own Elevenlabs and clone your own voice!

💬 Chrome extension with prefilled annotations

Right from the moment of releasing the Chrome Extension, it has been the way to make the guides for most of the users. To make the experience better, now the Extension automatically prefills the annotations which you can update later if you want.

🎬 Full-screen guide player

Now the embed player has a full-screen option. Not only that, you can embed the guides in the full-screen view by default.

🌈 Custom branding

Custom branding has been the most asked request. Finally, it is live and you can now configure your own background image, and watermark image for your guides so that they match your branding and look extensions of your company/product.

📰 Revamped guide hub

Now we have a brand new Hub page. You can now configure the colors, and logo for your hub page. You can also categorize the guides so that your customers can access them easily. Your customers can also search across all the published guides now.

🌍 Custom domain for hub

This is one of the major upgrades to the platform. Now you can configure your own domain, for example, guides[dot]mydomain[dot]com to the hub page and make it part of your web pages.

🚏 Public roadmap

Added the public roadmap recently. Now you can check what are the updates coming soon, request features, and more!
