Looking For Tech Founders For The Next Unicorn

Hey everyone,

My name's Pedro and I'm the CEO and one the the founders of doMore.

doMore is a platform that encourages and rewards its users whenever they're active and sustainable.

By doing activities such as a walk, run, cycling, going to a gym, or using public transportation, user are rewarded with doPoints that can then be used to redeem prizes.

In 2021 we launched our MVP in our small city (around 10k habitants) and got almost 1400 active users (14%) with 0 marketing.. only the word of mouth. During that period, (12 months) we had 70 partnerships that offered amazing prizes for our users.

We've just finished our 2nd product which is a management software for gyms & personal trainers, that allows them to focus more on their job, while rewarding their clients for being physically actives.

Right now, we're starting to developing the final version for the 2021's MVP and we're looking for technical founders to join us and help us with that. We have preferences in companies or full teams, but always open to new possibilities.

About the product :

  • Must be an APP (ideally native, but webapp works as well);
  • It reads a ton of API's
  • Android and IOS version
  • Able to measure/count their activities

About the team:

The team is Portuguese, and composed by 3 founders ( 1 non tech and 2 tech) and 3 board members (2 advisors and 1 lawyer). We're incubated at IPN (Instituto Pedro Nunes) in Portugal, TOP 10 worldwide.

Extra :

The product is easy to scale. We have a win-win business model that provides profit for everyone envolved (us, users and partnerships). If you're expert in management, marketing, or even sales, and think that doMore could work in your country, let's get in touch and we might have a good proposal/opportunity for you! :)

For the tech guys, if this is something that sounds exciting for you and you think you can add value to the team, drop a comment.

Thank you for your time,

Question: Why are the founders not on the board? The reason I ask is that it is highly uncommon for a startup's company's board directors to not include at least one of the founders. UNLESS when you are talking about your 3 board members (2 advisors and 1 lawyer) - you are talking about an Advisory Board, rather than the Board of Directors. Founders not having control of their startup board this early in your journey is a recipe for disaster.

Hey! Thank you for your question. They're indeed the Advisory Board members. The 3 founders (us) have total control of the startup :)
