How do you test your extension?

Hi IH 👋, I really curious and need some help, I have a chrome extension that uses displays a dashboard on the "newTab" window, I'm also using the chrome.bookmark api from chrome.

So do you know some way to test and extension?

I used to mock the chrome.bookamrks api and run it locally and use cypress
