Haven’t done one of these in a while — share your biggest success from last week! 😃 🎉

This time, I am going to focus on product related milestones since that’s what most people here like sharing. If it’s something else, of course we’d be happy to hear but really, post whatever you want. All that matters is that your success brought you happiness 😊.

Can’t wait to hear what everyone accomplished last week.

Relaunched my landing page at FourthWaveStudios.com. I've been meaning to update it for a year to what I have actually been doing rather than what my original vision was. It was good to take the time and just crank it out and also be honest with myself

I sent this message to my co-founder last Monday at around 2 30 am.

"We have got to improve things. I am worried. I don't like pushing sales, convincing people to use our service from the business end. The product has to be damn good that they see it, want it and ready to do it all by themselves to set up our product on their website."

We worked real hard, launched a demo page to test our product, mentioned it to a few friends, I was waiting for replies to pop-up with some inquiries.

On Saturday, I woke up and see that thing we wanted has happened exactly how we want. Few customers self-served themselves, hooked it on to their website, and even emailed us positive responses.

The journey in the last few months has been hard, the ups and downs. Amazing isn't it?
It's just a few but feels so good to know we are moving forward.

Wow that’s amazing, just goes to show how much can change in just 1 week!

Sorted out a bunch of tricky tax calculation and synchronization logic for the subscriptions feature of Nodewood. It's going a lot slower than I'd originally hoped, but since this is going to likely be the most-used feature in the framework (who launches a SaaS without looking to accept subscriptions? Probably some people, but few), it pays to take the time to do things correctly and implement a solution that is easy for developers to use!

Wow, really impressive, if I understood correctly you’ve managed to do what stripes been working on for a while already. I see requests everywhere for this type of code.

Maybe consider open sourcing just that as a library to gain viewers to show your main product to or just split it out into its own cheaper little add on to people’s current projects.

      Either way, awesome job!

        Thanks!

Though it's not really designed to be split out into anything - it depends on a whole whack of other Nodewood features. It'd be kinda like taking the engine out of a car - it's not going to be useful again until you build a car around it again!

I do have plans on doing something similar going forward, though, when I add more features to Nodewood. For the ones where it makes sense, I'll build the feature as a stand-alone library as much as possible, and sell that library for people who just want to integrate that feature into an existing site. But if you have a Nodewood license, you'll get it for free just by upgrading.

That said, that's well in the future. Gotta get the basics finished up first.

    Cool idea!

I doubled my subscribers for The BuildFaster Update in a week! I went from 10 ➡ 20 🥳

Congratulations! That’s an amazing milestone, 100% week over week growth is huge.
