BIP #10 How do you deal with overwhelm?

As a freelance beginner myself, I find that I'm always trying to take big actions towards achieving seemingly impossible big goals.

But the problem is not your goal setting skills (thank goodness!).

It's your perspective.

Instead of focusing on the big goal: Have $10k months in 15 months...

Break down the goal into monthly chunks and work towards achieving a monthly goal.

Using the example above, create monthly goals like these:

  • First 2 months: Charge $175/2 clients per month = $350/month
  • 3rd month: Upskill
  • Refine packages (add exclusive services)
  • 4th month: Increase price by charging $300/4 clients a month = $1200

And on and on...

This way, you don't get overwhelmed, sad and burnt out about not achieving your big goal.

You get what I mean?

I'm wishing you all the best!
