This is excellent Rohit.
Thanks for sharing.
The calculator link you shared seems to down.
Any other calculators available?
Question - Do these calculators work on Indian food as well?
Personally, I have found just monitoring the frequency and timing of each meal works well for me.
But I'm sure tracking calories will work well as well.
Thanks again!
Really glad Ayush you found it useful :)
I just checked the link, it is working for me, but try this other link: https://www.freedieting.com/calorie-calculator
I figured out that the following two STEPS will give us all the control we need:
2.1 Gain from current
2.2 Maintain current mass
2.3 Reduce from current
Once STEP 1 is done, then move on to MyFitnessPal mobile app to track how many calories you are consuming in a day. You will be relieved to know that Indian Foods are very much part of their DB.
While those data points will still be directional, it will give a strong sense of what you are up to.
When you say Frequency and Timing of each meal, essentially that's what we end up doing when we track/ document. Listen to your Body Clock, and not the wrist watch to feed yourself. Hunger should drive meal time, and not our wrist watches.
Cheers to Health and Wellness :)
