I built a platform for bite-sized personal life lessons that want to be heard.

Hey guys,

After turning 21 and graduating university, I am asking myself so many questions in life. Yet, I know that every single one of us has already gathered their own unique and valuable life lessons from their struggles in the past which made me really curious: What did they learn? How did they overcome the struggles and what's the takeaway for myself. I simply didn't want to miss out on all of the personal life lessons because I feel like every single one deserves to be heard and thought about.

This made me build a platform called LifeAdvice, a place to share bite-sized personal life lessons from people JUST LIKE YOU all over the world.

If you are curious what other people have learned so far feel free to dive in or even to explain your own life lessons.

PS: I don't profit whatsoever from the platform. For me, it's all about personal growth which unites me with our community.💛💛

This is a beautiful project Jorim, I had a great time reading through them!

How long did it take you to build this and basically ask people to add their life lessons?

Thank you so much @harshvijay! I coded this with pure vanilla HTML, CSS and JS so it took me around a month to fully build and deploy it. During the time of building it I was already doing UI/UX interviews with students on campus and encouraged them to post their personal lessons which worked out quite well :)

If you have any further ideas how to increase the usecase and potential of this platform feel free to share your ideas. Imm very curious how to make this project even more meaningful.

This is great! I had a question - how do you promote it?

Hey Mark! Im so glad you like the project. The promotion question is a good one. I have posted about this a little bit on reddit but thats it. Do you have any ideas how to get more people involved in this? Curious to hear your ideas. :)

Thats a great idea for a site. Being able to see the upvotes on each quote is a really nice touch.
