CPL of $1.77 with Linkedin's new Document Ads

At this moment, I believe I'm one of the first to test Linkedin's new Document Ads.

These are also lead gen ads, work only on mobile, but allow you to upload a document (it can be a guide, ebook, whitepaper, etc.), and only show a couple of pages for free. To access or download the entire document, they have to submit the lead gen form.

Got some crazy results targeting SaaS founders in Europe:

  • Spent: $40.66
  • Average CTR: 2.12%
  • Average CPC: $0.95
  • Leads: 23
  • Cost Per Lead: $1.77
  • Lead Form Completion Rate: 60.53%

you should create an ebook on getting leads on linkedin with ebooks. wonder what the CPL would be for that?

Love that you said this lol. I call these, self referencing products.
The product is about the product 🤣🤣🤣.

Those are really good numbers. What's your target audience?

SaaS founders in Western Europe with less than 50 employees

    Oh, that looks pretty interesting.

Given your target market, do you intend on creating lots of new content or honing the same thing over a long period of time?

The funnel is: survey ---> lead magnet ---> promote paid info product ---> connect & follow up ---> offer services w/ retainer
