I am not a recruiter and this is the first time I've posted something like this in public, but I felt this merited a post. Perhaps someone in the IH community might be interested:
I recently got to know a non-technical founder, Ali, of a startup (LifeWeb360.com) focused on a problem that I find noble, honoring the lives of those who have passed on from this world.
It is an uncomfortable problem that she described in her words as:
"Specifically, when a community has lost a loved one, or they are at the end of their life, we help them to gather memories, celebrate them in an authentic way, and give comfort to their family that they were seen in this world."
As CEO, Ali gave me the impression that she is conscientious, passionate, and strategically on-point and although I did not get a chance to meet the rest of her women-led team, it felt like the kind of company I'd join if i materially could (I live in a HCOL area).
She is looking for the right person to join her team as Lead FS Dev and I decided to help by sharing the job posting. I've vetted her and her company is legit working on something that I find has the potential to have a fundamental impact on how we preserve our humanity in a post-COVID world.
