My name is Nelson Osuagwu and I am excited to share that we are going to launch an eCommerce marketplace for Seasoning Products such as spices, herbs, tea products, and more. First of all, congrats on building this. I am curious why you have the 21st of July in mind as a launch date, if you are struggling with attracting vendors? Do you have a base inventory you can offer? Either by yourself or from vendors you know?
If I were you, I'd hop over to Spice Etsy and see whether you can attract them to hop over to the Seasoning Pantry. You need a large variety of offerings, before you can launch. You don't want to launch and run into the chicken and egg problem and be left without vendors OR customers. One of the sides you need to have beforehand.
Also, your benefits might come back to bite you. I am sure realistically you'd like to make money off this via listing or transaction fees, right? Your value is definitely not that you are the cheapest! Your value is that you can market directly to spice enthusiasts, home cooks etc. which is way better than the open marketplace at Etsy. You can get vendors better and more customers in this niche than anyone else!
