What do you think about warm intros to investors? Does it work?

Studies have shown that warm introductions can increase the likelihood of success in securing funding, as investors are more likely to consider investment opportunities that come from trusted sources, but what about your experience?

Warm intro can help but knowing your numbers, business model, and purpose of the money is critical. Without that it'll be hard to get an investor even with a warm intro (unless your business is undeniably good [like you've partnered with XYZ or reached ABC customers).

Also know angel investors (not VCs) may invest in you for personal/social reasons as well as financial.

      Makes sense, thanks!
