DDG made a deal with Microsoft that doesn't allow them to block all of their trackers, and they didn't tell anyone (until they got caught).

Man, it sucks when you can't even trust the companies who were supposed to be the solutions to untrustworthy companies.
Do companies just automatically become shady once they hit a certain level of success or something?

They don't block cookies on these multi-billion dollars companies but block ads on small blogs whose owners work hard 24x7 to write helpful articles. Also most them have this is primary source of income.
