Basic Video Editing Mistake Will Make Your Content Outdated

Video editing plays a big role in video content strategy. In being strategic we sometimes ignore small meaningful steps...

Video editing is one of those ignored steps which lead to massive changes in the end result. My only tip for video editing is simplicity. If you use trendy graphics or animations in your videos soon it will be out of style and your video will look outdated as graphic trends change every year.

Simple edits are the best because they help deliver your content without unnecessarily distracting your audience and your content will age better. By keeping your edits simple you allow your content to remain relevant longer and that should mean more money in your pocket.

    I agree 100%!

We've tried to incorporate these principles while building our automatic video editor https://vidon.ai.

By all means, let me disagree with you 100%.

You should use whatever gives your customers value. So what if a video becomes outdated 1 month from now, if that video brings you $1K in day one?

If you see a video that's performing well becomes outdated, by all means, redo it from scratch, updated for today. And if you need to redo it later in one month, so be it.

Good advice. Slowly I am also realizing old videos tend to look much older. Now I know the reason.
