Do you have to be a registered company to integrate Stripe on a SaaS product?

I don't think you need to be a registered company.
In the states you can run a company as a sole proprietor which just uses your social security number as your tax identifier. Although, you may just need a bank account number / routing number. I can't recall 100% if it requires a SSN or EIN (US business number) to connect up.
