Looking for marketer / ex founder to join our growing AI email marketing SaaS

We're Hoppy Copy (www.hoppycopy.co), an AI content tool for email newsletters.

We started a little over a year ago (me and my co-founder actually met here on Indiehackers) and are growing fast with big plans in 2024 to make email marketing easier for the world.

We're searching for a business/marketing partner to join our team, with an opportunity for a significant equity position in the company.

Ideally, you have:

  • previously founded or been involved with early-stage low-ticket saas ($29 - $99 / mo)
  • at least 5 years experience in marketing with deep understanding of email marketing as well as at least one of these other channels: Fb ads, SEO/content, CRO.

A bit about us: We're a team of two experienced entrepreneurs, each with over 10 years in our respective fields. We've worked for both small startups and recognized brands, and have taken several startups from zero to millions.

If you're up for chatting, please send me a message here (please include a link to your LinkedIn) and I'll follow up: https://www.hoppycopy.co/contact

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Just a suggestion, I think with more businesses following B2C trends, and PLG suites, you can try ungating your content usage so visitors can feel the value at first before giving their credentials, even if doesn't require CC. Some reasons why I think that.

    1. You use an AI wrapper, now people use AI for free, for content generation, that makes them habituated to getting free AI thing.
    2. AI wrapper products are very commoditised currently, many are building them, and fastly. The attention span for value decreases due to that.
    3. Well, PLG is the driving factor of AI tools, which by default means showing value at the beginning with very minimal friction.

I went to that site, website and contents were good, your messaging was fine, which made me feel to try it out. I clicked on Try Now, and boom, your signup window just slapped. I left there. Many might too.
