Me and my buddy have a podcast channel (https://www.youtube.com/@swpodcastde/shorts), and we found shorts actually help us to grow subscribers (still tiny sub count, but since the shorts it increases).
As we are developers, we build a tool which automatically creates shorts out of our main videos, so no extra work 😅

Definitely a game changer. My channel, Just Rocket Science went from 250-ish to 596 subs in 3 months thanks to Shorts.
IMO however, the true impact of Shorts is that you can gain a lot of data in to what your audience wants (and doesn't) very quickly. Shorts are easier to produce (IMO) compared to longer form videos.

We are basically recording only via zencastr, and then let 10LevelUp create the shorts for us :D So we do the podcast episode for the book, all the rest is automated.

From the analysis you could see that when the topic "viral video trend" have a lot of interest. And from this topic you can see they specifically interested on latest trends in viral videos, analyzing viral video patterns and viral video content characteristics.

Wow, I know how difficult it gets to creates short videos from the long ones and the amount of time it consumes. Will definitely give this tool a try. Kudos buddy! Why don't you also launch it on Product Hunt there might be many looking for a tool like this.
