Just had a similar problem where the coupon was successfully applied, but no discount. Discovered that the problem was related to how the total order was represented as 'sub total' and should be preceded by 'coupon'. It seems wrong to post the answer without any code, so here's where I did the debugging: almowafir.com/en/ and there's a directory of available coupons. Ny in my development $total was 0, so the discount was reset. Is there anyone here like me who has sinned with such thoughts as changing coupons myself without contacting the administration at the store? I didn't misspell, yes. I want to change the coupon settings (from my platform) and make them freely available.
