Any hardware indie hackers here?

Massive respect for anyone who is building a hardware indie hacking project.

It's not easy as software and takes a massive amount of time and money to build a successful product.

What's your story and what are you building?

What are some of your challenges and wins?

Hi 👋 I'm in the Hardware-lite category. I created and currently run learntosolderkits.com, which sells DIY electronics kits that teach people how to solder. It is a bit easier than a fully assembled hardware project because the customer has to assemble it themselves; that is the whole point!

E-commerce, in general, is a challenge. I had a lot to learn to make it successful, and I'm still learning every day. Funny enough, this project started as a gateway project. I wanted to ship something "simple" so I could move on to more complex hardware products. Welp! LTSK has been quite a challenge and has grown well beyond what I imagined.

Wins! We shipped over 8,000 kits this year. Well beyond what I ever expected when I started this easy project.

What hardware are you interested in? Any projects on the horizon?
