How to Version Control your Django Project

Hey All,

I wrote a small guide for how I Version Control my Django Projects. If you are interested I would love to get your feedback.

https://builtwithdjango.com/blog/django-version-control

It is aimed at the people who are just starting out.

TL;DR of the post is to use a good .gitignore 😃

This reminds me of X-man's Toad joke: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0yKSNq-oLg :P

I felt it was kind of clickbaity to call it "Django version control" when in reality there's nothing particular about Django in it.

      hahaha, this is hilarious!

You are totally right. The thing is that I planned a series of posts for beginners and the second post was about version control. When I ended up writing it, I felt silly as there wasn't much to say in particular, regarding Django.

Decided to post anyway. I'm going to continue work on other posts, and hopefully will run into something that will help me improve that version control post. Otherwise, will have to delete it at some point. Right now it feel too beginner-y.

      Thanks for the comment.
