Finished Appsumo Deal and Transitioning to Organic Growth

Hello everyone,

We've got some thrilling news to share with you all. After an incredible run with our Appsumo deal, where we welcomed a whopping 392 lifetime users onboard, we're now shifting gears to focus on organic growth.

Looking back on our AppSumo journey, we're filled with gratitude—for the opportunity, for the support, and for the invaluable lessons learned along the way. As the days went by, our deal gained traction, attracting attention from entrepreneurs, small businesses, and seasoned professionals alike. We've grown as a team, as a company, and as individuals, and we're excited for what the future holds.

It's time to unleash the true potential of our product and see just how far organic traffic can take us. We're diving into the world of original traffic, armed with enthusiasm and a keen eye for analytics.

To ensure we're keeping a close eye on our progress, we've prepared a meticulously detailed Looker Studio dashboard. This dashboard provides us with invaluable insights, from traffic channel sources to the final sign-ups.

With this dashboard, we'll be able to track every aspect of our marketing journey, allowing us to make informed decisions and optimize our strategies along the way.

Thank you, AppSumo, for being part of the Feedspace.io journey.

Is Appsumo useful? What's the primary objective of launching on Appsumo? Is it the upfront revenue or visibility?

    1. 2

Appsumo has helped us get noticed, but the real value is in what we've learned. Making money upfront is nice, but our main goal has always been to make our product better and get it out to more people. With the money we've earned, we're going to do more marketing to reach even more folks and keep improving our product

Once a deal with AppSumo concludes, transitioning to organic growth involves several key steps:

    1. Optimize Product: Enhance the product based on user feedback and insights gained during the deal period.
    2. Content Marketing: Focus on content marketing strategies to attract and engage organic traffic, leveraging blog posts, social media, and email newsletters.
    3. SEO Strategies: Implement SEO tactics to improve search engine rankings and increase visibility.
    4. Referral Programs: Encourage satisfied customers to refer others through referral programs or incentives.
    5. Community Building: Foster a strong community around the product through forums, user groups, and online discussions to stimulate organic growth through word-of-mouth.

Thanks for the helpful advice we are on it.

Congrats on the AppSumo win! Saw it a few times there, but didn't have a use for it at the moment :)
Can you share a bit about the type of customers you go from Appsumo? I've heard mixed reviews, especially for the IH community.

We don't limit our product to certain types of users. Everyone can use it for different things, just like Notion.

      • For instance, an elderly Japanese man uses it to record Japanese lessons for his grandchildren.
      • Restaurants use it to collect and share video testimonials.
      • Businesses without websites use it to create a 'Wall of Love' with their Google reviews, which they can then share on social media using our import feature.

Sorry, I phrased that incorrectly. I was hoping to learn what type of customers purchased your products from AppSumo. I use Appsumo a lot, but have heard that the customers Indiehackers tend to get from there are a bit more demanding than the average user, just was wondering what your teams experience was :)
