Formatting Investor Emails tips!

If you’re trying to know how to format investor (pre-seed/seed) emails, and not just a “just a business” type of way. Then here’s what the founders cafe members have to say about it!

  1. Keep in mind that these investors are very busy. They want to see big progress, not incremental steps.
  2. Don’t bother with a newsletter type of email
  3. Keep it short, make them want to reach out to you because of the large progress you are making
  4. Reach out once every 2-3 months
  5. Drop value bombs on them

Another advice that they gave is to split it into Wins, Struggles, Asks. With a big focus on wins.

For wins, focus on quantitative data. Also include important hires, signed design partners, successful pilots

Hope this works for you or if you have any other way please do share 😀

Best of luck from founderscafe.io!!
